Lettuce Bouquet
Have your bouquet and eat it, too? Our Valentine’s bouquets are arranged from mini-heads of specially selected lettuces that we’ve grown in our hoop house over the winter. Red and green varieties are combined to make a bouquet that’s as satisfying to look at as it is to eat.

Peas in a Pot
Pea shoots, that is. But yes, pea shoots do actually do have the flavor of peas! Their delicate, light taste makes them ideal for enjoying raw in salads, sandwiches or smoothies, or lightly cooked in soups or stir-fries. These nutrient-dense morsels are high in vitamin C, vitamin A and antioxidants, but low in calories. Our pea shoots are growing in a biodegradable coir pot, dressed up with a red ribbon. Give the gift that keeps on giving! Coupon is good for 10 weeks of locally grown bouquets. Each bouquet comes in a pint mason jar. Recipient can arrange ahead of time to pick up their flowers on Wednesdays or on Saturday mornings, May through October at CommonWealth Urban Farms, 3310 N. Olie.

Give your special feline a Valentine’s treat, too! Features an attractive variegated barley grass in a recycled pot. Many cats enjoy nibbling on live green plants, and cat grass is ideal for indoor cats. Cat grass provides a safe alternative for cats who munch on house plants!
